I am not enough.

There is a small barrier in your brain – a tiny voice that’s telling you that you are not worthy of something, or that you are not able to do something and that you are not enough. You believe that what you want is not available to you, even if it is available to others.

You put limits on yourself. These beliefs have been building gradually within and you may have not even noticed. You feel like everything you do is simply not important because the goal you are seeking is out of your reach anyway.

In addition to not feeling important, this is probably why you don’t even bother to make a little effort, let alone to give your best in anything you do. You are happy and satisfied with what you already have and don’t want to risk losing it over something better that you may or may not get.

You are in constant fear of being rejected by others.

The fear of rejection is rooted in our primal brain. It’s not that long ago that being rejected from your tribe meant you were likely to perish, and for many people, this fear is still very active and creates unfounded fears of life.

This fear makes you isolate yourself or hold back from connecting to others. Oftentimes you decide to not even try something because you’re afraid of being rejected. This can cause you to pull away from others and can lead to chronic feelings of loneliness and depression.

You have a deep-rooted need for connection.

What you value the most is the bond you create between you and the people who surround you. Whether it is a member of your family, a partner, or a coworker, you try your best to connect with them deeply because a sincere and strong human connection is what gives you the spirit to keep going forward and a tight hug would make all your problems disappear.
