What is it like to be hypnotized using RTT Hypnotherapy?
First, I will take you through a breathwork exercise to get you primed to enter a deep relaxed state. Then, as we begin the actual RTT Hypnotherapy, you will close your eyes and begin to feel yourself drift into a deeper state of relaxation. Many clients report it feels similar to meditation or like a trance state when doing yoga. Your mental chatter will diminish and you will have access to the hypnotic state where you can easily and effortlessly access your subconscious mind. From there, we can do the work of gaining updated perspectives, reframe how you perceive past events or circumstances, and discover creative solutions as well as tap into your intuition.

For all of us, it’s what you don’t know that you don’t know that runs the show because it is going unchallenged. Using RTT Hypnotherapy you can bypass your conscious mind and access beliefs about yourself and the world that you may not be consciously aware of.
Will I be asleep during the session?
You do not sleep during RTT Hypnotherapy, but you do get very relaxed.
Do I lose control during hypnosis?
No. In RTT Hypnotherapy, you are always in control. You will not divulge any information you don’t want to and you cannot be made to do anything against your will.
What if I can’t be hypnotized using RTT Hypnotherapy?
The vast majority of people can be hypnotized. The experiences of RTT Hypnotherapy are varied. Some clients drop into the hypnotic state very quickly and remain very still with their eyes closed the entire time. Other clients take a little longer to drop into the hypnotic state or may even occasionally open their eyes during the session. No two experiences are exactly the same.
Is RTT Hypnotherapy for everyone?
No, RTT Hypnotherapy is not for everyone. RTT Hypnotherapy is not recommended for anyone who has seizures or has been diagnosed with epilepsy. I do not work with individuals who have been diagnosed with serious mental health issues such as: Bi-Polar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, hallucinations, or delusions. In addition, I do not work with individuals who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
What if I can’t be hypnotized using RTT Hypnotherapy?
I have only had 3 or 4 clients (out of hundreds of sessions) who could not be hypnotized with RTT Hypnotherapy. During each of these sessions, I was able to use visualization techniques to help them get results.
What ages do you work with?
I have worked with children as young as age 3 years old (he had anxiety attacks), but typically, my clients are 16 to 66. My oldest client was 81.

Sylvester Stallone used hypnotherapy work to break through his writer’s block and overcome his confidence issues so that he could complete his screenplay, Rocky, and we all know how well that worked out! Other celebrities who have benefitted from hypnotherapy are Whoopi Goldberg, Kim Kardashian, Adele, Bruce Willis, Tiger Woods, David Beckham, Ben Affleck, and Ellen DeGeneres.
Is the information shared during the sessions confidential?
Every effort is made to keep information confidential. My services are not covered by HIPPA laws so I don’t document sensitive information and I do destroy client notes once they are no longer needed.
How many sessions are required before I can see results?
It depends on the issue. Some things, such as phobias, typically are resolved in one session. Weight loss and smoking typically take 3 sessions. Issues such as mild depression, anxiety, confidence issues, and self-worth typically require multiple sessions and sometimes targeted coaching as well. For RTT Hypnotherapy, we offer single sessions, The30-Day Transformational Experience Program (3 sessions) and The Positively Life Changing Program (8 sessions). During all the above programs, you will likely begin to experience changes after just the first session, but it may take multiple sessions to completely resolve the issue.
What if you help me uncover something I am not ready to share?
If you are not ready to uncover something, your subconscious mind will protect you and not allow it to come up. If you are not willing to discuss something, you simply won’t talk about it. For example, I was recently working with a young man who was not seeing the results he had hoped for even after two RTT Hypnosis sessions. He came into his third session and told me he was gay and that he hadn’t been willing to share that information with me, but decided that was probably why he wasn’t seeing results. During that session, he allowed himself to admit to being gay and he had a breakthrough.
